Fused was founded in December 2022 by Sina Kashuk and Isaac Brodsky, and emerged from stealth mode in March 2024 with the mission to simplify the work of data teams.
Sina and Isaac, former colleagues at Uber, previously co-founded Unfolded in 2019, which was acquired by Foursquare in 2021.

- Backend Engineering (Remote, Full-Time)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer to join our team in building a serverless Python data analytics platform. This role will involve developing backend APIs, creating features for the Fused Workbench platform, and contributing to our open-source Python package.
This is the list of responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the open-source Fused Python package.
- Build and maintain a cutting edge infrastructure for serverless Python API.
- Design system architecture following industry-standard security patterns.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Highly experienced software engineer, preferably in a startup, writing high-quality production code.
- Strong proficiency in Python and REST API development. We work with packages like FastAPI, Pydantic, and Poetry.
- Experience with modern Python data stack like Pandas, PyArrow, DuckDB.
- Preferably experience with modern web technologies like WebAssembly, Pyodide, WebSockets, React and TypeScript.
- Experience with development and productionizing using PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes on AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience rapidly getting up to speed on a code base and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Frontend Engineering (Remote, Full-Time)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team in building a serverless Python data analytics platform. This role will involve developing UI features for the Fused Workbench platform.
This is the list of responsibilities:
- Implement user feedback to enhance usability and drive product improvements.
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces for the Fused Workbench platform.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs.
- Develop and maintain the Fused Website, documentation, and blog site.
- Design system architecture following industry-standard security patterns.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues.
